TRAGEDY: 18 People Burnt To Death In Akure Road Crash
According to the P.R.O of the Ondo state Police command, Mr. Femi Joseph. The accident involved a fully loaded 18 seater bus moving towards Abuja and a lorry moving in the opposite direction.
The lorry was said to have collided with the bus while trying to avoid a pot hole on the road, after which the bus went into flames with no single survivor.
I also gathered that the driver of the lorry ran away immediately after the accident which occurred around the Akure airport junction and is still at large at the time of filing this report.
