The palace of the Owa of Idanre in Ondo State was thrown into a frenzy of joyful noise on Thursday, 27th June, 2019, when Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye aka Small Alhaji made a triumphant return to the ancient town after his swearing in as a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives in Abuja on 11th of June, 2019. The young parliamentarian, an indigene of the ancient town, had returned to pay homage to the monarch and receive royal blessings to herald his stay at the Green Chamber.

Adefisoye, while thanking the Owa of Idanre Kingdom, Oba Fredrick Adegunle Aroloye IV, reiterated his desire to ensure good and qualitative legislative representation that will influence basic needs that Idanre and extensively, Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency lacks. He enumerated the needs to be portable water supply, good roads, health care facilities, conducive learning environment for school children etc. Adefisoye also expressed his displeasure with the deplorable state of the palace and promised to build a reception hall that will befit the first class monarch.

In his remarks, Oba Aroloye thanked the Congressman for the visit and assured him of his support as long as he keep doing the town proud. The nonagenarian monarch, thereafter, prayed for Adefisoye and urged Idanre sons and daughters to support him.

Adefisoye was accompanied by his friends, family and associates.
