A former Speaker of Jigawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Adamu Ahmed, is dead.
The 66-year-old died in a hospital after suffering from a yet to be disclosed illness.
He served as Speaker of the Jigawa Assembly for eight years during the tenure of Dr Sule Lamido from 2007 to 2015.
