Troops of Nigerian Army have now adopted the least response timeframe to all distress calls in the North Eastern part of the country.

Troops of the Echo Company 114 Bn in blocking position at Izge Response Area (RA) on April 27, 2020 received information that Boko Haram terrorists were launching an attack on Yenegu village which is about 5 kilometres from the location of troop members.

Within few minutes of receiving the information, dogged soldiers of the troops swiftly mobilised and engaged the Boko Haram terrorists who later fled due to the superior fire power of Nigerian troops.

Impressively, two Boko Haram terrorists were neutralized, while
no casualty was recorded on the side of gallant Nigerian soldiers.

Members of the public are therefore urged to repose abiding faith in the determined capacity of Nigerian Army to response to all distress calls in the shortest possible time. The army is also very determined to end the insurgency war in thr shortest possible time.
