Burutai Loses Mother While At Front Line of Boko Haram War

The Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Burutai has lost his mother, Kakah Hajja. The woman passed on Tuesday while her son was away at the front line of the war against Boko Haram and ISWAP.
A reliable source in the Burutai family revealed that the late Hajja died after a brief illness at her home in Maiduguri, Borno State.
It was however gathered that General Burutai received the sad news of his mother’s death with equanimity and also accepted it as the will of God.
Information also gathered from the theatre commands has revealed that Burutai was busy supervising strategic operations of the troops and the field commanders in the Lake Chad axis when he was informed of his mother’s death.
A reliable army source has hinted that the ongoing strategic operations are in preparation for the next phase of the clearance operations against the insurgents groups of Boko Haram and ISWAP.
