A state of the art garri processing company, Agronomy Plus Limited is to begin commercial operations in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State any time soon.
It will be recalled that the siting of
Agronomy Plus Limited in Idanre was facilitated by the member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye.
As construction work is progressively ongoing in the company’s site, people of Idanre are beginning to express their appreciation to Hon. Adefisoye for the fulfilment of his promise to attract a company to Idanre.
Meanwhile, better days now await cassava farmers and youths in Idanre and Ifedore Local Government Areas that make up the federal constituency. Agronomy Plus Limited is expected to provide hundreds of direct employment opportunities for youths in the federal constituency.
The company is designed to produce enough garri for local consumption of Ondo State residents as well as for exportation.
Also, the Agronomy Plus Limited is to engage in the production of starch to meet the needs of local and foreign companies.
Moreso, the Chief Executive Officer of Agronomy Plus Limited has assured all cassava farmers in Idanre and Ifedore of improved and steadily guaranteed incomes once the company commences operations. He also assured the farmers of free periodic trainings that will help them to increase the yield of their cassava cultivations.
