CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF RELOCATES TO KATSINA TO COORDINATE MILITARY OPERATIONS AGAINST BANDITS
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Burutai said he will remain in Katsina state for sometime to coordinate and supervise operations in Rugu forests and beyond.
Buratai made his decision known on 28 June 2020 while speaking during a courtesy call to Governor Aminu Bello Masari at government house, Katsina.
Lieutenant General Burutai announced that this year’s Army day celebration earlier schedule for plateau state had been shifted to hold in Faskari of katsina state on the sixth of July, this year.
The Chief of Army staff assured that the operations against the bandits will continue to rid the Forests of bandits.
