Ondo state police rescues abducted travellers from unknown Gunmen

ONDO POLICE RESCUE KIDNAPPED PASSENGERS
The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Police Command, CP Salami Amidu Bolaji says, there should be no apprehension of fear about the security of Ondo State.
Speaking on the rescue of eight (8) passengers abducted over the weekend by some unknown gunmen around Idoani axis of the State who were on their way to Abuja, CP Salami said as soon as he got the information, he ordered his men to go into the forest of Idoani like fierce speedy brigades of mounted warriors slicing apart the forest to ensure the passengers were all freed.

CP Salami said, with this quick response to dastardly acts of kidnapping and other heinous crimes in the State, it is an audible sign that Ondo State is not the State for kidnapping, and warned that those who think this is a rhetoric should dare and their trial would convince them.
CP Salami Bolaji said he gratefully appreciates the efforts of his Police Officers, the assistance of other security agencies and some vigilant locals who took on the kidnappers like a Naval battle in the days of sail with powerful deadly dreadnoughts ripping through the forest of Idoani for the rescue of the abducted passengers.
He however warned that people should protect themselves just the way they protect their cell-phones.
