Eid-el-kabir : Adefisoye Urges Constituents To Embrace Peace
Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye who is representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency of Ondo State has urged the Muslim ummah in his constituency and Ondo State at large to embrace peace in the spirit of Eid-el-kabir celebration.
The Deputy Chairman of House Committee on Army urged Muslims is his constituency to dwell on the essence of peace which makes Islam a religion of peace. He added that peace actually originated from the same root as the Islam. Adefisoye also admonished that Islam actually encourages Muslims to have friendly and brotherly relationship with others.
In the Eid-el-kabir message that was personally signed by the federal lawmaker, he appealed to his constituents to celebrate with moderation and he also particularly advised them to observe the prescribed safety protocols on coronavirus.
The statement reads in part, “My message of peace to the people of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and Ondo State at large is aptly necessary at this time as the state is preparing for the local government and governorship elections. The youths of my constituency and the people of Ondo State in general are advised to shun violence and resist all forms of enticement to engage in thuggery during the local government and gubernatorial elections.
“This is definitely a period of celebration for many people which however turns out unavoidably to be a time of extreme exposure for our gallant soldiers and members of other security agencies. It is important that we remember in our prayers the security agents and particularly our soldiers who are at the front line of war to ensure that we all live in peace and celebrate this Eid-el-kabir without security breaches”.
Meanwhile, Adefisoye has rededicated himself to the pursuit of better representation for the good people of Idanre/Ifefore Federal Constituency. He also gave hints of developmental projects and programmes for the benefits of his constituents which are to be unveiled by the third quarter of this year.
“This is not only a time of felicitation with my fellow Muslim brother and sisters in the constituency; it also a time to doubly assure all my good constituents of a better time ahead as some developmental programmes and projects are to be rolled out for them later this year. While wishing my fellow Muslims Barka de sallah, I also wish them Allah’s grace of unfailing health, fulfilled desires and fullness of joy”.
