Operation Sahel Sanity’s Activities Extended Till December 2020
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Burutai has extended the activities of Operation Sahel Sanity in the North West region of the country till December 31, 2020 based on the initial successes recorded by the troops.
Burutai made this announcement during the ongoing special media chat with the press at the Army Super Camp IV Faskari, Katsina State on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
While commending the operational successes recorded so far by the troops, Burutai also charged them to maintain the current momentum until armed bandits are totally defeated in the North West region of Nigeria.
Moreso, General Burutai has pleaded with the locals in the affected North western states to cooperate with the troops of Nigerian Army in the area of credible human intelligence.
