We have been receiving reports of some shamelessly unscrupulous elements, parading themselves as SDP members wanting to decamp to certain political parties during their campaign flag offs. This practice is now more rampant when it became obvious that the erroneously endorsed SDP governorship candidate is a committed APC sponsored person, backed by an SDP fake DNC south.
I therefore wish to alert the public, especially our LG Chairmen, that SDP as a party has NOT issued any DIRECTIVE on which candidate the party intends to collaborate with in the forthcoming Governorship election.
It is the party that has the constitutional right to issue directives on where the party’s bulk vote should go and for this purpose an important MEETING of the authentic SDP LG Chairmen is being planned for early next week.
