Sanwo-Olu to abolish pension for former governors, deputies in Lagos
The governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced his intention to repeal the Public Office Holder (Payment of Pension Law 2007).
Gawat Jubril, Governor Sanwo-Olu’s senior special assistant on new media, made this known via a tweet on Tuesday, November 10.
According to Jubril, the Lagos state governor announced the plan while presenting the 2021 budget to the Lagos State House of Assembly.
