BREAKING: Sierra Leone Stage Massive Comeback To Draw Nigeria 4-4

Sierra Leone came from a 4-0 down to pick a massive 4-4 draw against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, the Edo state capital. Two goals from Everton playmaker, Alex Iwobi on the 3rd and 27th minutes, and one each from Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukueze ensured that the Nigerian side ended the interval with a four-goal advantage. The Sierra Leoneans, however, fought back in the second half through goals from Kwame Quee (41′), Al-Hadji Kamara (72′), Mustapha Bundu (80′) and Al-Hadji Kamara (86′). The three time African champions now leads Group L with seven points from three matches. The reverse fixture will be played at the National Stadium in Freetown on Tuesday, November 17, with victory for Nigeria guaranteeing them a place at the 2022 AFCON.
