Not much is heard from the immediate former governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose, especially after he left office in 2019 following the last gubernatorial election in the state.

But he spoke again on his 60th birthday which took place on Saturday, November 14, in which he expressed deep gratitude to God for preserving his life, PM News reports.

Speaking with journalists on Saturday, Fayose disclosed that he will like to pursue the ambition to become a pastor to show how grateful he is to God.

The former governor also revealed that will like to become Nigeria’s president some day.

Fayose also debunked claims that he nurses a dream to get the post of a senator, and lamented that many of his friends and allies abandoned him after he lost the governorship poll.
