Banditry: Military Sets Target To Conquer North West Forests
The high command of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) on Thursday said that it was at the verge of conquering all the forests in the North West, and would in no distant time, rid them of armed bandits.
Major General John Enenche, Coordinator of Defence Media Operations, (CDMO), made the disclosure in Abuja, while briefing Defence Correspondents on the military operations across the country from November 19 to 25. 2020.
General Enenche said that he military was recording tremendous feats against armed bandits in the North West zone, pursuant to the Presidential directives to the Service Chiefs, to up their games in fighting the criminals.
The Defence operations spokesman said morethanever, the military was making so much inroads in the battle now, following the new approach employed in the area of synergy with the various services.
“I will be briefing you on operations of the Armed Forces of Nigeria in conjunction with other security agencies across the Country from 19 to 25 November 2020. The various operations have progressed satisfactorily with significant results.
