Arsenal skipper wants to be fit for Chelsea match
Arsenal have a very tough fixture with Chelsea on Boxing Day. The Gunners are very close to the relegation zone and it is a huge game for them. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is coming towards the back end of his recovery and he hopes to be back to help his team get out of such a difficult situation.
The Emirates Stadium hosts a huge clash on Saturday against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea. It will be one of the most difficult matches so far this season for Mikel Arteta’s men.
The Gunners have an injury doubt for the blockbuster clash. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has a calf strain.
The Gabonese, according to ‘Mundo Deportivo’ has not been ruled out for the match with Chelsea. The attacker is in the final stages of his recovery.
Aubameyang is aware of Arsenal’s delicate situation and he will work hard until the very last minute to try and be fit for Arteta. It remains to be seen whether his injury allows him to play on Boxing Day or not.
