EFCC nabs club owner, 14 others over alleged Internet fraud
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested a club owner, Emeka Kingsley, and 14 others at the Glass House Club in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos State, over alleged Internet fraud.
It was gathered that the EFCC operatives raided the club around 1pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021 following intelligence that it was being used as a hideout by suspected fraudsters.
The 14 other suspects are Adesoye Kehinde, Seun Adefala, Adebayo Gbadebo, Adebogun Adebowale, Aruna Ikoghane, Odunayo Oluwatoyin, Junaid Oladimeji, John Ugochukwu, Oluwadare Aboderin, Ridwan Dada, Amosu Toby, Jimoh Tunde, Oyemade Michael and Akeem Dada.
“Investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be charged to court afterward,” an EFCC source told our correspondent.
