Rep Adefisoye, @smallAlhaji_ Embarks on Construction of 30 Stalls Market in Ifedore
Federal lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye on Friday, June 25, 2021 commenced the construction of 30 stalls Obada market in Igbara-Oke at Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Foundation of the market was laid by Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye at exactly 10:50 am. The federal lawmaker however, assured that the market construction would be completed without delay. The federal lawmaker also advised market women present at the event to carry out regular maintenance and sanitation of the market when completed. Also in attendance during the foundation laying event was the Sapetu of Igbaraoke, Chief Moses Akinaluko, who represented Oba Dr Francis Adefarakaanmi Agbegbe.
Speaking on behalf of Olowa of Igbaraoke at the event, Chief Moses Akinaluko thanked Hon. Adefisoye for counting Igbara-Oke worthy of the kind gesture. He also assured the federal lawmaker of the unflinching support of Igbara-Oke community in his future political aspirations.
Meanwhile, representative of the market women, Mrs Toyin Omotosho thanked Adefisoye for extending his hand of assistance to the women of Igbara-Oke. She added that the intervention came at the right time after a long abandonment of the market.
In his remark, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye said Obada market construction was in fulfillment of his election campaign promise made to the people of Igbara-Oke. He however, thanked the people of the community for their warm reception and also assured that many more developmental projects would spring up in the community before the year runs out. He also described Igbara-Oke as his second home where the people would always welcome him most warmly anytime.
Similarly, the entourage of Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye also visited the
palace of Olowa of Igabara Oke, Oba Dr Francis Adefarakaanmi Agbede where homage was paid to the traditional ruler. While at the palace, the Sapetu of Igbaraoke, Chief Moses Akinaluko acknowledged the delivery of quality representation by Hon. Adefisoye and urged him to strike a balance between developmental projects in Idanre and Ifedore.
Moreover, Adefisoye described Oba Dr Francis Adefarakaanmi Agbede as his adopted father and promised to facilitate more developmental projects in Igbara-Oke community.
In his reaction, Oba Adefarakanmi described Hon. Adefisoye as his son and expressed happiness that his chief bore their hearts to the federal lawmaker. More so, the traditional ruler also stressed that the people of Igbara-Oke really love
Adefisoye and would want the lawmaker to relate more with his chiefs.
The traditional ruler of Igbara-Oke also emphasized that Adefisoye was in the good book of Governor Akeredolu and therefore urged his subjects to show more love and support to the lawmaker.
Relatedly, the entourage of Hon. Adefisoye also visited the Olubuji of ibuji, Oba Folagbade Ojo. The monarch pleaded with the people of Ibuji to see Adefisoye as one of them and urge them to continually show maximum support to the political cause of the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Army.
