Davido’s dad to Adeleke: I will criticise your govt if you derail
Dr. Deji Adeleke, elder brother of Osun State governor-elect Senator Ademola Adeleke, said yesterday that he would be the first person to criticise the incoming governor if he did not meet people’s demands.
Deji, a business magnate and the Pro-Chancellor of Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, speaking at the 8th undergraduate and 4th postgraduate convocation of the institution held at the Performing Art Theatre Hall, which was attended by governor-elect Adeleke, advised the graduating students on the need to be good leaders and followers in their future endeavours.
He faulted the poor leadership style of political office holders and people who sold their votes during elections.
The Pro-Chancellor said people who collected money to install a leader lacked the moral standing to complain or hold political office holders accountable during their administration.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Solomon Adebola, said 848 students graduated from the school, while 25 got first class honours.
