The Kabiyesi, Olojoda of Odaland, Oba Julius Omomo, the Okunbadeji II, has expressed gratitude to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON and the Acting Governor, Orimisan Lucky Aiyadatiwa for the creation of Akure East Local Council Development Area (LCDA) with the Headquarters at Oda town.
The appreciation is contained in a statement by Oda community development.
According to the statement, the Olojoda Council of Chiefs, the Oda Development Council, and the entire sons and daughters of Oda town, also expressed their appreciation to the state government for the development.
The statement described the move as a long overdue expectation that was made possible by Governor Akeredolu whose antecedents are unprecedented among the people.
The community expressed their support for the Ondo state government and assured that they will ensure that new LCDA becomes the centrepiece of socioeconomic development and growth.
