The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo and Ose local government areas of Ondo state will, on Monday (today), publicly endorse the governor of the state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, as candidate for the 2024 governorship election.
The event, which will take place at the Oba Olateru Olagbegi Civic Centre in Owo, will have in attendance APC local government chairmen, ward chairmen, party leaders and elders.
The Owo public declaration of support is one in a series of events being organized by the party apparatchiks across the state to show their unreserved support for Aiyedatiwa, in his bid to return as governor of Ondo state in the 2024 election.
Dr Olayide Adelami, who is the deputy governor of Ondo state and highest ranking APC leader from Owo, said the only way to move the state forward is to vote Aiyedatiwa, whom he described as a leader with requisite experience and passion.
The event will be streamed live on @drolayideadelami on Facebook and widely reported on national broadcast stations.
