Nigerian Senate adjourns plenary until May 7 over poor audio quality, other issues

The Nigerian Senate has adjourned plenary until May 7 to allow for further refurbishment of its chamber.

The Senate resumed on Tuesday after the Easter and Sallah breaks but faced minor operational challenges, especially poor audio quality.

Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, who presided over the session, said the Senate would adjourn until Tuesday to allow finishing touches on the chamber to rectify the problem.
