Ladies and gentle, Distinguished guests, esteemed participants, and fellow citizens of Ondo State,

I stand before you today as the convener of the Yemie Fash Online News (YFON) platform, filled with immense pride and gratitude as we gather for the 2nd Edition of our interactive session. The theme for this year’s event is “Charting the Course for a Better Ondo State: A Comprehensive Strategy for Inclusive Governance.”

YFON was born out of a deep desire to address and resolve the issues that affect the people of Ondo State. Our platform is dedicated to raising awareness, generating discussions, and finding solutions that will ultimately contribute to the betterment of our beloved state. We firmly believe that every individual, regardless of their background or status, deserves to live in a state that thrives and provides equal opportunities for all.

Today, we come together not only as concerned citizens but as agents of change. We recognize that progress is not a solitary endeavor but a collective responsibility. Through this interactive session, we aim to engage in meaningful dialogue and develop a comprehensive strategy that embraces inclusive governance, ensuring that the voices of all citizens are heard and their needs are met.

Inclusive governance lies at the core of our mission. It means creating a government that actively involves all segments of society, one that values diversity and actively seeks out the perspectives of its people. We understand that true progress can only be achieved when everyone feels seen, heard, and represented. It is through this inclusive approach that we can develop policies and initiatives that address the challenges faced by our communities and promote sustainable, equitable growth.

During our time together, we will delve into various topics that are crucial to our mission. We will discuss ways to enhance education and healthcare systems, stimulate economic growth, protect the environment, and foster social cohesion. We encourage active participation and open dialogue, as it is through the exchange of ideas and collective efforts that we can shape the future of our state.

As the convener of YFON, I want to express my sincere appreciation to all those who have supported us on this journey. Our success would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our partners, contributors, and the unwavering support of the members of YFON platform. Your belief in our cause and your active involvement have been invaluable in driving positive change in Ondo State.

Let us remember that change begins with us. Each one of us has the power to make a difference, and together, we can create a better Ondo State for everyone.

Thank you all for coming.
