SITA mgt pays courtesy visit to PSTI; inspects facilities for build-a-thon bootcamp
The management of Ondo State Information Technology Agency, (SITA) today paid a courtesy visit to the Public Service Training Institute, (PSTI) Ilara Mokin.
The visit was part of preparation by SITA for the upcoming ‘Build-A-Thon’ boot camp training program for some selected senior secondary school students across the state in partnership with the federal ministry of communications to enhance digital literacy among students.
Speaking during the visit, the SSA to Ondo state Governor on ICT,Hon. Tomide Akinribido,who led the visiting team commended the state government for providing state of the art technology equipments at the Institute,while he equally expressed satisfaction with the readiness of PSTI for the program.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary of SITA, Dr.(Mrs) Folukemi Aladenola called for strategic partnership between PSTI and SITA in view of humongous ICT facilities available at the Institute for the state government to actualize its digital transformation agenda.
Welcoming SITA Management, PSTI’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Olumide Asere expressed the readiness of the Institute to deploy its facilities to ensure the Build-A-Thon holiday boot camp is well hosted,highlighting that the PSTI has the requisite facilities to host world-class tech events.
The Build-A-thon boot camp is designed to engage young minds productively during this holiday by making them participate in problem-solving skills.
