Yemie Fash sympathizes with Ondo flood victims.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Diaspora Matters, Oluyemi Fasipe, also known by the sobriquet Yemiefash, has sympathized with some residents of Ondo Kingdom affected by a devastating flood which occurred yesterday.
Fasipe, in a statement on Saturday, urged the victims to stay aloof from the milieu until the flood subsides, adding that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s order on the evacuation of the affected areas would go a long way to ameliorate the situation.
The statement reads, “I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy to the residents of Ondo Kingdom who were affected by a devastating flood yesterday. This unfortunate event has caused hardship for many families in the neck of the woods.
“During this challenging time, I urge everyone to prioritize their safety and follow any evacuation orders or guidelines provided by the state government. Together, we will support one another as we recover and rebuild from this tragedy. My thoughts are with all those impacted, and I stand ready to assist in any way possible. Recall that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, through his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, had sympathized with the Osemawe of Ondo and the people of Ondo Kingdom on the flash flood that occurred in some parts of the community on Friday.
The Governor also ordered the evacuation of the affected areas and rapid response of the government to halt further damages.
