Amotekun corps discovers decomposed bodies of two girls in Ekiti

The Ekiti State Amotekun Corps has uncovered the decomposing bodies of two young girls during a recent patrol in the Aramoko-Ekiti area.

This was revealed in a statement issued by Officer Adeleye Abiodun Adewale, the Head of Communications for the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps.

The statement identified the suspected perpetrator as 29-year-old Ogunnike Philip, a native of Ogun State, who is accused of murdering the two girls and leaving their remains in the forest.

According to the report, “The body of Taiwo (age withheld) was found in a bush near Egbewa Street, behind an incomplete building, while the remains of 18-year-old Fatoki Seun were discovered in another bush along Oke-Oja Street in Aramoko-Ekiti.”

Local operatives from Ekiti West Local Government Command noted that the advanced state of decay had caused significant air pollution at both sites, with maggots infesting the remains.

The Health and Environmental Officers in Aramoko-Ekiti have since removed the bodies and transferred them to the town’s General Hospital, according to the statement.
