Akoko North West LG residents express confidence in Aiyedatiwa’s administration

Residents of Akoko West East Local Government area of Ondo State, on Tuesday, received Governor Aiyedatiwa and his campaign train with excitement and enthusiasm.
The residents who couldn’t hide their joy to have the Governor in their community expressed their confidence in his administration, saying that the Governor has been doing well since he assumed office and they believe that his good deeds will multiple in 2025.
The Governor visited Ogbagi, Afin, Irun, Oke-Agbe communities, all in Akoko West East local government area.
At the palace of Owa of Ogbagi land, Oba Olasehinde Ojo Adetona said that Akoko North West has not seen anyone who can defeat the Governor at the election, stressing that the good works of the Governor are speaking for him.
Speaking on behalf of the 27 traditional rulers in the area, Oba Adetona noted that the Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory is certain. He urged the Governor not to forget the rural communities in the future. He also presented the community’s needs to the Governor, and was assured of timely intervention.
Also speaking, Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, member representing Akoko North East/North West federal constituency assured the Governor of his constituents massive vote during the election, stressing tha nothing will shake the Governor’s victory.
Speaking at Ogbagi Akoko, Governor Aiyedatiwa noted that his administration will not relent in making life comfortable for the people.
The Governor said that the 2025 budget of his administration will be meticulously structured to capture the developmental needs of every part of the state.
“The 2025 budget will be well-structured to ensure that no part of Ondo State is left behind. We are already making progress across various sectors, but development is a process, and we must take it step by step. Infrastructure and other essential services will reach your region soon.”
The Governor expressed gratitude to the monarchs of the area for their support during the APC primaries and their renewed endorsement ahead of the November 16 gubernatorial election.
“I am thankful for the love and support you showed during the primaries. Your endorsement today strengthens my resolve to continue serving you diligently. All the monarchs across the local government areas are speaking with one voice, endorsing our vision and backing this campaign”, the Governor said.
While addressing party faithful in Oke Irun, Governor Aiyedatiwa stressed the crucial role their unwavering support will play in securing victory for the party in the coming election.
He stressed that the success of the APC depends heavily on their unity, commitment, and active participation throughout the campaign and on election day.
At Afin-Akoko, the Governor, while addressing enthusiastic supporters, explained that his decision to pass through all the major areas within the local government was deliberate.
He noted that by personally visiting these communities, he could better understand their challenges firsthand and gain deeper insight into their pressing needs to enable him to take swift and targeted actions to address them.
He said: “I came through every key area not by accident but intentionally, so I can see things for myself and listen to your challenges directly. This way, I can respond promptly and ensure that no issue affecting your communities is overlooked.”
The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive development, promising that the concerns raised during his tour would reflect in future planning and projects aimed at uplifting the state and improving the quality of life for all residents.
Addressing his supporters at Oke-Agbe, the Governor pledged that all sectors across the State will be developed, especially in the area of security of lives and property of the people.
Mrs Susan Gbemisola Alabi, the deputy governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), officially defected to the APC and was received into the party by the Governor.
