Civil service week: Ondo workers appreciate Gov Aiyedatiwa

Civil servants across the State have appreciated the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his good works and love for them.
The workers while taking a walk to celebrate the 2024 civil service week had a stop over at the Government House to salute the Governor.
Addressing the crowd, the Head of Service, Mr Bayo Philip, appreciated the Governor for his regular and timely payment of workers’ salary, regular promotion of workers, among others.
“We are not politicians, we are civil servants, our major reason for the stop over is to appreciate the worker friendly Governor and loving for his fatherly love.
The State Chairman of Trade Union Congress, (TUC) Comrade Clement Fatuase, commended the Governor for all his works, stressing that workers will continue to support his administration.
Reacting, Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated the workers on their civil service week, expressing his gratitude for their support for him since he assumed office.
The Governor emphasised the importance of civil servants as the engine room of any government, stressing that they need to be well taken care of. “We’ll continue to make the workers happy for them to be motivated and encouraged to discharge their duties”.
He assured them that his administration will continue to do better to make the workers more encouraged. “I will break records concerning the civil servants, I’ll look at what should be done for them to deliver well in their offices”.
Speaking on the minimum wage, the Governor said ” I have made a public declaration to the whole world, there’s no going back, it is a pronouncement that can never be changed”.
“A committee has been set up to work on a consequential adjustment, it has almost been concluded, it will be approved and paid by the end of the November”.
