2024: Adelami Leads Owo Ward Tour, Canvasses Votes for APC
Ondo state deputy governor, Olayide Adelami has said the current administration in the state is living up to the expectations of the people, as he assured of more people-oriented programmes when re-elected.
He made this known during a campaign tour of the wards in Owo local government to thank the people for their support in the last primaries and also canvas for votes for the party in the November 16 governorship election in Ondo state.
Adelami said Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is committed to providing good governance that will take Ondo state to its lofty heights.
He said “My principal and the people’s governor is prepared to consolidate on his achievements in the last 10 months, when re-elected”
He urged the party faithful in Owo to intensify their efforts at promoting the good works of Governor Aiyedatiwa through house-to-house campaign and community outreach.
“Everywhere we go, you can see the crowds of APC members at ward level and even non-APC members too, in support of my principal. Everyone in the state is happy with him to continue as their governor for the next four years.
“The APC members in all the 11 wards in Owo are people that are trustworthy and they have given their words that Governor Aiyedatiwa is the candidate they will vote for in the election.
“By the grace of God, I know that come 16th of November 2024, we are going to surpass earlier votes through massive mobilization for continuity for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa “
On his part, APC Chairman in Owo local government, Samuel Balogun, disclosed that the party in Owo is prepared to deliver overwhelming votes to the governor.
He expressed satisfaction at the pro-people projects, programs and policies of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa-led government since inception.
“We want to assure you of our 95 percent votes. We are voting for continuity and consolidation because of the future of our children”
Some of the party members who spoke also promised to demonstrate their unity and love for the governor through the ballot.
