JUST IN: Pastor, woman studying for exams shot by gunmen North Central State
A woman studying for her examinations has been shot dead by some unknown gunmen in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital city.
The police spokesperson in the state, Superintendent of Police Usman Abdullahi said the gunmen also killed a pastor during their attack.
According to Abdullahi, the incident happened on Friday, December 6, night.
He said the woman was shot in her stomach while she was studying for her examinations in her room.
While noting that no body was kidnapped during the attack, Abdullahi said money and valuable items remained untouched by the gunmen who attacked the woman and the pastor.
The police however, did not disclose if any arrest has been made so far or the identities of the victims of the gunmen attack.
