Family Appeals for Help in Locating Missing Ogun Teenager

The family of 19-year-old Ebube Orjike, who has been missing since Thursday, December 12, 2024, is seeking the public’s assistance in finding her.

According to reports from the Ogun State Police Command, Ebube left her home on Mubarak Street, Akute, on the day she disappeared, stating that she was heading to her workplace on Onwe Street. However, she reportedly told her boss she was going to Berger on the instruction of her sister, a claim her family disputes.

Happiness, Ebube’s aunt, informed the police at the Ajuwon division that all efforts to contact the teenager via phone have failed, leaving the family desperate for answers.

Police spokesperson Omolola Odutola provided details about the missing teenager, saying, “Ebube is fair-skinned, 19 years old, and fluent in English and Igbo. She left her workplace claiming she had been sent to Berger by her sister, but her family denies this. Since that day, she has not been seen, and her phone has remained unreachable.”

Odutola urged anyone with information about Ebube’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station, emphasizing the need for public support in reuniting her with her family.

The family continues to hope for her safe return and pleads with anyone who may have seen her or knows her location to come forward.
