A viral video posted on X.com on Tuesday has captured the moment a train collided with a car in the Iju-Fagba area of Lagos State.

The vehicle, a Sienna, was reportedly loaded with bags of rice.

As of the time of filing this report, no casualties have been confirmed.

Recall that a year ago, at least three people lost their lives, and many others sustained varying degrees of injuries following a collision between a Lagos State staff bus and a commercial train along Agege Motor Road.

Investigations revealed that the incident was caused by reckless driving on the part of the BRT bus driver, who attempted to beat the train traffic signal, leading to the moving train ramming into the bus.
