Ondo LG Election: Ajongbolo Rallies Support for APC Chairmanship Candidates, Counsellors In Two LGs
Ahead of the local government elections scheduled for January 18, 2025, in Ondo State, Seun Oluwahina Ajongbolo, a former House of Representatives candidate under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 elections and now a dedicated member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged his unwavering support to the party’s candidates.
Ajongbolo has been actively mobilizing financial and material resources cum grassroots support for the APC Chairmanship candidates and the 26 and 11 Councillorship candidates across the 26 and 11 wards in Akoko South West and Akoko South East Local Government Areas respectively.
In a recent interview, Ajongbolo stated, “As a committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I consider it my duty to mobilize support for the party’s candidates to ensure flawless victories at every election.”
Reflecting on his political journey, Ajongbolo noted his active involvement in the governorship primaries and the subsequent election, where he supported Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
“I actively campaigned and mobilized support for the success of His Excellency at the polls. This was driven by my recognition of his love for the people of Ondo State and his commitment to their welfare,” the Oka Akoko born politician remarked.
Ajongbolo’s commitment to the APC and its ideals is longstanding.
He emphasized his dedication to the party’s vision, including the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“With the upcoming local government elections, I have extended my support to the APC Chairmanship candidates and Councillors in both Akoko South West and Akoko North East Local Government Areas. While Akoko South West is my home base, my dedication to the party motivates me to go beyond my local government to ensure APC’s victory across the board,” he added.
Ajongbolo, a United States based business Consultant called on all party members and supporters to unite and work diligently to secure victory in the forthcoming elections, thereby safeguarding the legacy of the APC, a party established on strong foundations by visionary leaders.
“It is our responsibility to ensure the APC remains the leading political force in Nigeria and the largest in Africa,” he concluded.
