The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi has joined other top ministers of God in a special programme to pray for President Donald Trump in the United States of America ahead of his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States of America.
In his prayer, Kumuyi asked God to grant the newly elected president the wisdom he needs and grant the church the forthrightness to speak the truth. ‘Lord we have come in preparations for the inauguration of Donald Trump the president tomorrow. We are asking you, grant him wisdom and grant the church the unity, the knowledge and forthrightness to speak the truth to power.
While praising God for upholding His church, Kumuyi prayed that God would,‘Revive the church and purge the church that there will be holiness and the righteousness you expect for your child and your church will have a meaningful ministry in government as well as in the nation.
‘You said upon this rock you will build your church not just for that generation but for all generations. And you said the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
‘And we pray as you connect the church with the leader, we pray that it will be a good unity that will help the president and the church to remain the church.
‘Confirm it oh Lord and answer the prayer of your people for this nation America in Jesus name we pray.
He however praised God Almighty, thanked Him and blessed His name. “What a great and glorious God you are. And what a gathering we have this afternoon. We thank you for the church in America
It will be recalled that Pastor Kumuyi was invited on Friday January 17, 2025 by President Trump as guest for the second inauguration of United States President-elect Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. today January 20, 2025.
