Veteran actor Moses Korede Are, popularly recognised for his role as Baba Gbenro in the popular Mount Zion series, “Abattoir,” has been laid to rest.
The film star was buried in Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
Christian video podcast, Zion Kulture, a subsidiary of Mount Zion Radio, shared photos of the funeral on X on Friday.
Fondly known as Baba Gbenro, the actor was born on June 11, 1959. He spent his early years in Kano State, later continuing his education in Plateau State and ultimately completing his studies in southwestern Nigeria.
He was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso. He died in November 2024.
