St. Monica’s Grammar School , Ondo, celebrated its 70th anniversary with a grand event attended by dignitaries, alumni, education stakeholders, and well-wishers. The event was an opportunity to reflect on the school’s achievements over the years and recognize individuals who have contributed to education and human development. Several distinguished personalities were honored with awards for their outstanding support in various capacities. Among the awardees was Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ondo State House of Assembly and the Honorable Member representing Ondo West Constituency 1, who was recognized for his efforts in promoting education and youth development.
While receiving his award, Otunba Ogunwumiju praised the management of the School for their dedication to academic excellence and the proper training of students. He commended the school leadership for maintaining high educational standards and ensuring that students are well-prepared for the future. He described the school’s 70th anniversary as a major milestone, proving its commitment to raising future leaders.
