Alles Charis set to launch South West’s largest LPG plant in May
Alles Charis, a major investor in Ore Industrial Park, is gearing up to unveil one of Nigeria’s largest Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) plants, which will be the biggest in the South West.
With a 2,000-metric-tonne storage capacity, the facility is expected to play a significant role in advancing Nigeria’s energy sector by promoting the widespread adoption of LPG and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
During a recent site inspection, Peter Fayomi, General Manager of Project Alles Charis, and Abdulgafar Sulyman, General Manager of Gas Operations, expressed confidence in the progress of the project.
Fayomi highlighted the plant’s potential, stating, “This project will have a far-reaching impact, not just on Ore but across the entire South West.
It will strengthen the region’s industrial capacity and contribute significantly to Nigeria’s energy transformation.”
Sulyman reaffirmed the company’s commitment to completing the facility on schedule.
“We are working diligently to ensure that operations begin in May. This plant will enhance energy accessibility and support economic growth in the region,” he noted.
Dr. Femi Akinkuebi, Managing Director of Ore Industrial Park, commended Alles Charis for its dedication and acknowledged the vital support of the Ondo State Government.
He credited Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for fostering an environment that encourages investment in industrial projects, emphasizing that initiatives like this will help drive economic development.
With its anticipated launch in May, the Alles Charis LPG plant is set to become a key player in Nigeria’s energy landscape, reinforcing Ore, Ondo State, as a leading center for industrialization and sustainable energy solutions.
