WAEC releases 2025 computer-based WASSCE results for private candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the 2025 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for private candidates.

In an update shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, the examination body stated:

“The results of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2025 – First Series have been released.”

However, some candidates have reported difficulties accessing their results online.

One user, Ephrata, expressed frustration, saying, “I checked mine and it’s saying my card has been used by another candidate.

This is my first time using it.

I even bought a new scratch card, but the same issue persists.

Please explain what’s wrong so I can take the next steps.”

Another user with the handle endowedToBad added, “My student has not been able to check the Nov/Dec 2024 result till now.”

Similarly, a user identified as Bigname said, “Good morning, I’m trying to re-download my photo card to retrieve my result pin, but it’s saying registration is not allowed at this period.”

Another user, Trillions, shared a screenshot of the error message received while attempting to check the result online.

More updates are expected to follow.
