Biola Adebayo surprises veteran actress Dupe Jayesimi with a car on mother’s day

Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo brought joy to veteran actress Dupe Jayesimi by gifting her a brand-new car in celebration of Mother’s Day.

The heartfelt gesture came after Jayesimi opened up about her struggles with childlessness, a pain that once led her into alcoholism.

Speaking on Adebayo’s podcast, she shared how her inability to conceive contributed to the breakdown of her marriage.

Jayesimi recounted her journey, revealing that despite undergoing IVF twice, she was unable to have a child.

She also recalled the devastation of a miscarriage that occurred shortly after her wedding.

At 40, she experienced another pregnancy, but doctors later discovered it was ectopic.

Her marital struggles were equally painful.

She described how her ex-husband distanced himself, even creating a physical barrier between them in bed.

“Two weeks after I left the marriage, a pregnant woman moved into the house. I wept,” she said.

Beyond her own heartbreak, Jayesimi also spoke about raising her sister’s child, only to be reminded she was not the biological mother.

“On the child’s wedding day, my sister told me, ‘You cannot sit there; no matter what you spent, the child is still mine.’ That broke me.”

She admitted to masking her sorrow by dancing excessively at social events.

“People thought I was joyful, but I was just hiding my pain.”

On Sunday, March 30, Biola Adebayo and her team arrived at Jayesimi’s home to present the surprise gift.

In a touching video shared online, Adebayo offered prayers before handing over the car keys. Overcome with emotion, Jayesimi broke down in tears, expressing deep gratitude for the unexpected kindness.

Sharing the moment on Instagram, Adebayo wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mummy @dupe_jayesimi.

To everyone who made this dream a reality in just a few days, I say a very big THANK YOU. I’m so happy we could put a big smile on her face.”
