A local vigilante was killed during a gun battle between security forces and armed bandits in Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area of Katsina State on Friday.
Security operatives successfully repelled the attack, recovering all stolen items as the assailants fled.
The incident was shared on social media by security analyst Bakatsine, who praised the Dutsin-Ma Police Division for their swift response.
As of the time of reporting, the Katsina State Police Command had not released an official statement on the incident.
