The Lagos State Police Command has arrested six suspected cultists in connection with the killing of a 30-year-old man in Ebute-Meta.

Command spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on Wednesday, said the suspects were apprehended on July 17 during an intelligence-led operation by detectives from the anti-kidnapping unit in Surulere.

“The suspects, aged between 22 and 54, were involved in a cult clash that led to the gruesome murder of a 30-year-old man,” Hundeyin said.

He added that efforts are underway to track down other members of the group and recover weapons used in the attack.
