Residents of Ore, headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, were thrown into shock on Friday after a commercial motorcyclist was killed by unidentified assailants.
The victim’s body was found around 5:30 a.m. in Zone A, Destiny Community, behind Sizzler, Ore.
He was reportedly attacked by the assailants, who fled with his motorcycle, leaving him in a pool of blood.
An eyewitness described the killing as disturbing, saying, “We are shocked over the incident.”
The attack has fueled growing security concerns in the community, with residents urging authorities to step up surveillance to forestall further violence.
A security source confirmed the incident and disclosed that an investigation is already underway.
