The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that online registration for prospective members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II will begin on Monday, September 8, 2025.
The announcement was made in a statement shared on the scheme’s official X handle on Thursday.
However, the management did not indicate when the registration exercise would close.
Established in 1973 by the administration of General Yakubu Gowon, the NYSC scheme was designed to promote national unity and integration in the aftermath of the Nigerian civil war.
It mandates graduates of tertiary institutions under the age of 30 to serve the nation for one year, usually in states outside their regions of origin.
