The National Assembly has reopened the office of the Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The office, located in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing, was unsealed on Tuesday morning by the Sergeant-at-Arms with the support of security personnel, Channels Television reported.
Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended in March for six months following a protest over the reassignment of her seat by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on February 20.
The suspension barred her from all activities of the 10th Senate.
Although the suspension officially lapsed in September 2025, the senator had faced difficulty resuming her duties due to ongoing legal tussles and resistance from the Senate leadership.
Last week, she formally wrote to the upper chamber to notify them of her readiness to return, but her request was initially rejected.
