The Osun State Police Command has appealed to members of the public to help identify a speech-impaired man found wandering in the Modakeke area of the state.
In a statement issued on Monday, the command’s spokesperson, SP Abiodun Ojelabi, said the man was discovered on October 3, 2025, around the Adelola area of Modakeke.
According to Ojelabi, the man is dark in complexion, about 3.4 feet tall, and has an oval-shaped face without any tribal marks. He was reportedly dressed in a kampala outfit when he was found.
“The male individual was found at Adelola Area, Modakeke, Osun State, on October 3, 2025.
He is dumb, dark in complexion, about 3.4 feet tall, and has an oval-shaped face with no tribal marks,” the statement read in part.
The police urged anyone who recognises the man or knows his relatives to contact the Divisional Police Headquarters in Modakeke or the Family Unit at Oke-Fia, Osun State.
Ojelabi added that the appeal was part of the command’s efforts to reunite the man with his family.
