A 30-year-old man, identified as Sanusi Tinau, has died after he was allegedly attacked by a man who accused him of having an affair with his wife in Lumbu community, Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the attack occurred around 2:09 a.m. on Friday when the deceased allegedly visited the woman’s home.
According to Makama, the enraged husband descended on Tinau, beating him until he lost consciousness before fleeing the scene.
Police operatives were said to have arrived shortly after the incident and took the victim to the General Hospital in Ningi, where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
Makama added that the Bauchi State Police Command has launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspect, while investigation into the incident is ongoing.
