The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Engr Ade Adetimehin, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a divinely ordained leader sent to reposition Nigeria and restore national prosperity.
Adetimehin said the President’s emergence was meant to halt years of economic and institutional decline, adding that the reforms being implemented, though difficult, were necessary to secure long-term stability and growth.
Speaking with journalists in Akure on Monday, the APC chairman likened the current economic challenges to labour pains, insisting they signal the birth of a new and stronger Nigeria.
He noted that food prices were beginning to ease, stressing that the administration’s economic policies were already yielding gradual results across markets.
“President Bola Tinubu is a messiah sent by God to this country at this time. When you talk about economic reforms, you can see what he is doing. You can see his efforts in infrastructural development,” Adetimehin said.
He urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive, expressing confidence that reforms such as fuel subsidy removal and tax restructuring would soon translate into improved living conditions.
Adetimehin also reaffirmed the Ondo APC’s commitment to mobilising grassroots support for President Tinubu, describing support groups in the state as loyal party members working towards the President’s re-election.
He called on party members to remain united and focused, noting that internal cohesion was essential for the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda and the continued dominance of the APC.
