Hon. Akeju Emmanuel, popularly known as Mr Pillar and a staunch supporter of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has empowered residents of Ward 10 (Erusu/Ikaram) in Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The empowerment programme, held at his hometown of Erusu Akoko, attracted party faithful, community leaders and beneficiaries from across the ward. The initiative was described as a demonstration of grassroots support, unity and commitment ahead of future political engagements.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Akeju Emmanuel said the empowerment was motivated by his love for the people, his desire to improve their livelihoods, and his unwavering support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Asiwaju) in 2027. He also reaffirmed his backing for the political aspirations of Hon. Ife Ehindero and Hon. Fatai Bolaji Atere ahead of 2027.

Items distributed to beneficiaries included hand dryers, hair clippers, grinding machines, as wyell as cash support to enable recipients start or expand small-scale businesses. According to Hon. Akeju, the gesture was aimed at promoting self-reliance and economic empowerment at the grassroots.

Beneficiaries and community members commended Hon. Akeju Emmanuel for what they described as timely and people-oriented intervention, pledging their continued support for his political vision and the leaders he represents.

The event ended on a note of appreciation and renewed commitment to collective progress and political solidarity within Ward 10 and the larger Akoko community.
