As Ondo State celebrates its 50th anniversary, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Diaspora Matters, Oluyemi Fasipe, also known as Yemie Fash, has congratulated Governor Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the people of the state on the historic milestone.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Fasipe described the half-century journey of Ondo State as a testament to the resilience, unity, and hardworking spirit of its people.
He said the achievements of the state, both at home and in the diaspora, reflect the collective contributions of Ondo sons and daughters globally.
Fasipe particularly highlighted the role of the diaspora community, noting that their investments, expertise, and support remain crucial to the state’s development and international reputation.
“Your connection to home continues to drive development and inspire hope for a brighter future,” he said.
As the state marks #OndoAt50, Fasipe urged residents to reflect on past achievements while recommitting to building a stronger and more prosperous Ondo for future generations.
He concluded: “Happy 50th Anniversary, Ondo State. Greater heights ahead.”
