The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Olajide Ipinsagba, has commended the appointment of Hon. Adetunji Adeyemi to the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Ipinsagba described Adeyemi as a committed progressive and illustrious son of Akoko, stating that the appointment underscored the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership abilities.
The lawmaker noted that Adeyemi’s emergence as a board member of the agency was a significant national responsibility and a reflection of his dedication to public service, as well as his record of integrity and competence.
Ipinsagba expressed optimism that Adeyemi would bring his wealth of experience to bear in advancing ongoing reforms in the power sector, particularly in strengthening efficiency, transparency and accountability within NEMSA.
He observed that the appointment came at a pivotal time when the Federal Government was intensifying efforts to reposition the electricity industry for enhanced performance and improved service delivery to Nigerians.
The senator added that he was confident Adeyemi would оправе the confidence placed in him and contribute meaningfully to the agency’s mandate.
Ipinsagba also wished the new board member wisdom and success in the discharge of his duties.
